Work

As a student journalist who produces news packages for television, focusing on clear storytelling and strong visual reporting is of utmost importance. I cover campus life, community issues and feature stories that highlight the people and places that shape the region. My goal is to create work that is accurate, engaging and easy for viewers to connect with while continuing to grow my skills both in the field and in the newsroom.

From custodial staff moving through empty hallways to campus safety officers patrolling the grounds, these are the people who work while the rest of us sleep.

Radio Work *

During my time at WMUL-FM, Marshall University’s award-winning student radio station, I’ve had the opportunity to build hands-on experience in live broadcasting. I regularly serve as an on-air anchor, delivering timely news updates with clarity, accuracy, and a professional on-air presence.

I’ve also taken on weather reporting, crafting concise forecasts and presenting them in a way that’s both informative and engaging for listeners across the Tri-State. Working in the studio has strengthened my ability to think on my feet, communicate confidently, and adapt to the fast pace of live radio—all skills that continue to shape my growth as a journalist and storyteller.
